Day 42: Mon 29 Apr 24 - Busselton

Image
Mon 29 Apr 24 - Busselton 10 Deg overnight to 25 Deg through the day, mostly clear with moderate easterly winds. Not much to report today, other than it was a very relaxing day. In the morning we spent some time revising our itinerary  slightly  for the next few weeks to coincide with friends being at home in Geraldton when we visit on our way north. About mid morning after some planning, cleaning and a few chores, we climbed on our bikes and rode into Busselton for coffee and a late morning coffee which was very nice. It was a solid headwind riding in, but a very pleasant tailwind on the way back, and very scenic in both directions. In the afternoon, we drove back into the supermarket to stock up on some groceries, then we returned to the caravan to prepare for our departure tomorrow. Another walk to the beach and a lovely sunset ended a very enjoyable day. We're enjoying the more relaxed pace of our itinerary with longer stays.  Tomorrow we have only a short distance to drive to

Day 41: Sun 28 Apr 24 - Busselton

Sun 28 Apr 24 - Busselton 12 to 23 Deg, partly cloudy with a SE wind reaching no more than 15km/h throughout the day. After a morning walk along the beach, while Noel did a couple of loads of washing, we set off for a drive through the northern parts of the Margaret River region, forming the majority of the day's activity.  It was a perfect day for exploring more of West Australia's stunning coastline with visits to  Dunsborough, Cape Naturalist, Yallingup, Canal Rocks and Smith's Beach. It was a very relaxing day, sometimes just sitting on rocky outcrops soaking up the warm sun and  gazing out to sea and along the coastline.  At 3:30pm, we arrived back at the van where I made a few calls then ended the day with another walk to the beach to catch the setting  sun . Another very enjoyable day ending far too quickly.   Morning walk along Busselton Beach Morning walk along Busselton Beach Morning walk along Busselton Beach Dunsborough - It doesn't appear so in this photo,
